Rollergirls and Pussyfooters

In the Company Burger parking lot on the 4600 block of Freret between Cadiz and Valence at 3:45 will be a special Big Easy Rollergirls event with a performance by the Pussyfooters! Don’t miss it!

FYI there is no ATM on Freret Street HOWEVER… if a vendor cannot take plastic don’t fret. Just go to one of the Information/ATM/Market Money Booths found on the corner of Robert Street and at Cadiz Street in front of Zeus’ Place and you can use your credit card to purchase Market Money. All vendors will accept Market Money like cash. If you have Market Money left over from Freret Market bring it! Spend it!

Parking

If you are lucky enough to live close enough to walk to this year’s Festival, good for you!

If you drive, there are two, free parking lots nearby: 1) On Napoleon Avenue at S Robertson Street & 2) On the corner of Magnolia and Cadiz Streets. Please be courteous to our neighbors when you park and do not block driveways.

If you ride your bike, there is a complimentary bike valet by Bike Easy, at the corner of Freret and Jena.

Via public transit, both the Freret #15 bus and Napoleon #24 bus will drop you off right here. Take the St. Charles Streetcar and walk the 8 or so blocks or the Claiborne #16 bus is just 2-4 blocks away.

Freret “Scene in a New Light” shirts will be for sale again at the Festival at Material Girl’s booth #902 between Robert and Upperline Streets. Material Girl also created these awesome, limited edition backpacks using some of the t-shirts.

Free bike valet at the Freret Street Festival by Bike Easy. Ride your bike to the Fest and let Bike Easy park and secure it for you. Bike Valet is located on Freret near Napoleon Avenue.
