Freret Street will be blocked off From Napoleon Avenue to Jefferson Avenue. If you are lucky enough to live close enough to walk to the Freret Street Festival, good for you!
If you drive, there are two, free parking lots nearby: 1) On Napoleon Avenue at S Robertson Street & 2) On the corner of Magnolia and Cadiz Streets. Please be courteous to our neighbors when you park and do not block driveways. Be aware there is major construction going on Napoleon Ave and Jefferson Ave.
If you ride your bike, there is a complimentary bike valet by Bike Easy, at the corner of Freret and Jena and also at Freret and Valmont. Please help keep sidewalks clear by parking your bicycle with Bike Easy. It’s free, secure and easy!
Via public transit, both the Freret #15 bus and Napoleon #24 bus will drop you off right here. Take the St. Charles Streetcar and transfer to the Napoeon bus or walk the 8 or so blocks. The Claiborne #16 bus is just 2-4 blocks away.
The Freret Street Festival is excited to announce that Thomas Morstead and 52businesses will be at the Festival on Saturday to launch Thomas’#whatyougivewillgrow foundation. Come down the the Freret Market lot at Jena to meet them in their blue bus!
Stop by the Pet Tent on the corner of Cadiz Street to meet pets ready for adoption from Zeus’ Place and others. If you bring your pooch with you, we’ll also have the Doggie Pit Stop at the tent with treats and wading pools.

We are excited to unveil our musical line up for the 2014 Festival! We added a fifth stage so that’s even more music to enjoy. (Subject to change) Visit the Music page for complete listing.
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with WWOZ with the stage on Cadiz Street and they will be broadcasting live to the world from that stage! We will update Facebook and Twitter with more exciting news as it becomes available.
