Thanks everyone who came out to the Freret Street Festival Saturday: shoppers, vendors, musicians, volunteers… everyone! What a fantastic Festival. Same time and place next year.

Getting to and Parking at the Fest

Freret Street will be blocked off From Napoleon Avenue to Jefferson Avenue. If you are lucky enough to live close enough to walk to the Freret Street Festival, good for you!

If you drive, there are two, free parking lots nearby: 1) On Napoleon Avenue at S Robertson Street & 2) On the corner of Magnolia and Cadiz Streets. Please be courteous to our neighbors when you park and do not block driveways.

If you ride your bike, there is a complimentary bike valet by Bike Easy, at the corner of Freret and Jena and also at Freret and Valmont.

Via public transit, both the Freret #15 bus and Napoleon #24 bus will drop you off right here. Take the St. Charles Streetcar and walk the 8 or so blocks or the Claiborne #16 bus is just 2-4 blocks away.

We are in full gear getting ready for the 2013 Freret Street Festival. April 6, noon – 6pm, Freret Street between Napoleon and Jefferson Avenues. The Festival will be bigger and better this year!

Rollergirls and Pussyfooters
